It features a very basic house and basic gameplay elements.
This was the last Hello Neighbor 2 version to feature the decrepit house, and the Guest as the main antagonist.The Pre-Alpha & Alpha 1 of Hello Neighbor is a completely free "early demo" of the Stealth Horror Game. The three kids, Pumpkin Kid, Alien Kid and Guest Kid only ever appeared in this version. The Alpha ends with a black screen that says "How is your weather?". Quentin walks over to the door, but stops when the knocking becomes aggressive banging. He hears a knock on the door and grabs a little pumpkin basket. Quentin is now in his office at the Wayron Croobs Rimmor, having watched all the events on his computer. The feed cuts out and a different cutscene begins. The Guest Kid bends over and Theodore runs into the door, first trying the handle then violently banging on the door for help. At some point, the lights start to flicker. The more candy Quentin puts in the sack, the closer the Guest Kid comes to the door. In the attic are two fake versions of the Pumpkin Kid and Alien Kid placed around a small sack, and a heavy red metal door which is locked. He brushes it away and sees the Guest with a large trash bag that he takes up into the attic.Īfter solving some puzzles and retrieving the key to the attic door, Quentin opens it and goes inside. 
The Guest crawls on top of the roof, and as it goes to grab the kids, a missing poster flies into Quentin's face with each of three kids on it.
Looking back up, Quentin then sees three children dressed for Halloween walk up to the front door of the house. Looking at the feed, Quentin sees the Guest throwing trash into a fire, and eventually the camera as well. He looks over and grabs his camera display to see what happened. Quentin sets the poster aside and goes to drink some tea, when he hears a loud shatter from the house. He takes a glimpse of a missing poster, with the missing person being Theodore. Quentin is in his van, parked not far from what was once the house of Theodore Peterson.
